Relative States

These pictures explore boundaries of subjectivity and question how photography shapes our perception of reality. The archetypal forms in the pictures suggest a spectrum of dimensions and potentials that extend beyond what is presented within the frames. Clear pictorial depiction and various states of abstraction create a feeling of familiarity and a state of suspension, ultimately encouraging viewers to draw on deeper levels of interpretation and extend their preconceived notions of how the world appears.
